Taken down on the call
Enough to send help and nothing beyond it: your name, a number to reach you on, the address of the property in trouble, what has happened there, and your carrier where a claim is in play. Calls are sometimes recorded, for training and for checking how they were handled.
Nobody on this line asks for a Social Security number, a date of birth, a bank or card number, or a policy number. Anyone who does, claiming to be us, is not us.
What happens to it
It passes to the contractor whose territory covers that ZIP code, so a crew can find the place, and it stops there. Nothing is sold, rented or fed to a marketing list. Beyond that contractor, the only thing that would move it is a legal requirement.
The website itself
Traffic here produces the usual server logs, and analytics may be running to show which pages get read. Those numbers are counted in bulk and are not tied back to a person. Cookies go no further than keeping the site working and feeding that analytics: no ad networks, nothing else following anyone around.
Asking what is held
Ask what is held about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted, by calling the dispatch line or emailing us. Give the address you called about so the right record can be found.
